The voice will place all the indigenous people under the control of a communist style dictatorship ruled by Labor Party (unelected and fixed term) appointees who will dictated how and where indigenous people will live, and any funding will be controlled by these few board members. I might remind everyone that the Voice is a publicly listed company and like all other businesses the people will have no say in the affairs of that business, as their will be no share holdings to the common folk, major beneficeries will be major investors such as mining companies, hedge funds and construction companies who will demand a huge growth on their investment and all profits will be exparitated to foriegn countries. As a private company and can be bought out by other corporations or foriegn governments if they fall in debt to those organisations. The majority of the Indigenous people have not been given the truth of the Voice and the general Australian community will be led to believe that the indigenous community are dictating the treaty, truth, and any reparations, (leading to hatred of the Indigineous people) but that will not be the case as only the board of the Voice company will have the mandate to fleece the Australian public of money, political power and freedom of movement around the nation. All existing financial arrangements will be usurped by this unelected body and we will see massive laundering towards projects of a very small and elite group of Indigenous puppets. Any treaties will have a heavy bias towards an aparthied nation of which the indigenous people want no part of. For more than two hundred years the majority of Indigenous people have evolved into a more modern society and are reaping the benefits of that cultural engagement, our young are learning trades, attending schools, enjoying longer lives and are excelling in sports. The Voice will enslave them to an elite masterclass who will dish out welfare to keep the indigenous people in their (primitative) place and subsequently preventing them from advancing into a global society as equals.

Thank you, I really appreciate your contribution. It's vital for all Australians to hear the TRUE voice of Indigenous people on this topic. Ngarri, would you be open to an interview?

In recent years, for every major government policy that might entail some degree of controversy, you can take the exact antonym of the bill's name and find something very close to the reality of what it actually represents.

I think this might be known in the US as the 'Ron Paul rule'!

Have you seen this gathering of Traditional Custodians and Aboriginal Elders? Invited by Community Voice Australia who appear to be doing some wonderful work out in the community.

It is scary that we don't know if the ballot will be on paper or electronic. Electronic is untrustworthy due to hacking, and paper untrustworthy due to the AEC employees are controlled Government lackies. How will it be scrutineered and varified, the military needs to supervise the experiment. The whole system being proposed is a scam from top to bottom. "Trust the Labor Government? Sure Cant"

A decade ago, I would have been crazy for The Voice, prepared to believe in all the feel-good platitudes as an article of faith, but the repositioning of race as the new political axis of the Earth, the relentless rise of woke identity politics, the 'everyone I don't like is Putin/Hitler/Trump' ideological pathology, and especially the crowning stupidity of the Covid debacle, all perpetrated by those who are now the Yes voters of today, has turned me into a No Voter and general supreme sceptic of whatever it is the government hectors and lies to us about (after due consideration and independent thinking of the merits of the issue which almost invariably shows the government position to be intellectually worthless if not downright dangerous).

And I say all this as a lifelong lefty, having watched my 'tribe' desert the ramparts and go over to the dark side on all the above.

I hear you, Phil. I have leaned left in my electoral choices for most of my life. But the Left of my youth bears no resemblance to this woke, war-pig, corporate shilling monstrosity that now wears its mantle (like the wolf in sheep's clothing logo of the Fabian Society - now why didn't I see that before???).

When the light goes on, it NEVER goes out, this is a good thing. Don't get mad, get even. Both sides for me are done.

You betcha. It's highly noteworthy that the most prominent Indigenous opponent of the Voice, Senator Jacinta Nampijinpa Price, chose the slogan 'We are one together, not two divided' for the No campaign website (https://www.fairaustralia.com.au/).

ahhh the republic referendum.

even back then, this little black duck easily recognised Howard's deliberate attempt to ensure a no vote with his republic model.

The actual referendum should have been a 2-parter.

Q1 - Do you want a Republic?

Q2 - If yes, choose 1 model from the following list:

100000%. I was and remain a staunch republican, but I voted no because of the model that he of the copulating caterpillar eyebrows foisted on us.
