Well written Robyn! I am 200% behind you! I have no time for their nonsense and their ridiculous statements!

And they need to be called out on their posturing. I may be kidding myself, but I picture MPs all over the country receiving a deluge of emails and phone calls from constituents letting them know in no uncertain terms that they will be down the bottom of the preference list unless they grow some balls and speak out against the COVID nonsense, and becoming increasingly uncomfortable. Once they start talking to other pollies in the party room, they may be able to bring some pressure to bear on their so-called leadership.

Well said Robyn!

Would like to see the constitutional Law that prevents the federal government from intervening on state government laws and policies, clearly Darlene has never read the Australian constitution?

Expand full comment

Yes it's clearly BS - Federal govt intervened over Victoria's plan to sign up to China's Belt & Road Initiative

I suspect that's not a criterion for employment by an MP.

Thank you for highlighting the hypocrisy, and for challenging politicians. We are listening.

Covid vaccinations have been shown to be…

-unsafe and ineffective -

….but too bad if you want employment or scientific justification.

Great advice- Follow the politicians and vote those who support mandates and suppress early treatment last. No wonder the fringe parties people have never voted for are increasing their votes.

How is it the unvaccinated can be repeatedly asked - and more than welcome to donate blood and save 3 lives every donation, - but treated with disdain within many medical services. They can roam around shops but cannot work there. They cannot play golf outside on their own but can travel on a train. The list goes on and on and the state comparisons are becoming even more bizarre. Teachers in SA can work but not in Vic. Nurses require booster in Vic -, but not in NSW…. Police can work in SA and NZ but not Vic or NSW. We thought Australia was worse than New Zealand - not any more, they have dropped most of their mandates…like most of the world - their data cannot justify the reality - whatever spin and propaganda the press produce only someone of low intelligence could not see the reality of government control and punishment. Karma awaits those who punish.

That's an excellent summary of the sheer insanity of COVID policy in this country. I hate to say it, but if Australians don't vote these bastards out, we'll have the government we deserve.

Agreed, somehow, someone needs to provide a simple voting explanation to ensure medical freedom has a chance -vital to send a clear message to all politicians - but sadly the preference system is beyond the knowledge and effort of many worn down, post and current lockdown citizens - and while optimistically I believe many may well want to help fight the mandates etc, they have no energy or no idea where to start …. especially how to make a difference beyond major parties. While we may be regularly talking with close friends and family about voting, I’m not sure that is mainstream. Surely information (informed collation and collaboration) can be supplied or at least start sending notification that suggestions and explanation are coming to assist people to exercise more informed choices of their own free will if they are interested - maybe this could be set up on various alternative media platforms, letter drops in a strategic way? Hopefully someone who knows all the candidates and their stance on the COVID issue is starting to work on this…we are running out of time. I know you are doing all that you can Robyn. If this is a legitimate idea maybe you know someone who could help organise some basic information in one place to share the knowledge and help educate the public and finally hold the politicians to account.

Thank you Nicola. Someone just told me that the Health Australia Party are also contacting politicians to establish their stance on Covid policy and collate the information. Everyone working together will educate and promote hope.

So, you've been writing to politicians again, Robyn, expecting an honest exchange of views and a respectful engagement on the issues based on health science evidence. Another triumph of hope over expectation, I'm afraid. Charlie Brown, too, kept expecting that, this time, Lucy would hold the football for him for a place kick. Politicians, like the Lucy's of the world, however, live in a different world to their well-meaning citizens. They want your vote, and your vote only. They don't want to debate informed, principled constituents.

Still, as you argue, you have your vote and you know how to use it! Put the Covid incumbents dead last, regardless of any legacy political affiliations - and put the freedom candidates first.

Cheers!

IKR???? Haven't I learned anything yet?!?!?

I don't seriously expect Keith Pitt to engage in any kind of open, honest discussion, because I know he's the LNP's 'boy'. But I want these people to know that at least some voters are onto them.

And for sure, LibLabs and Greens dead, stone cold, motherless last.

here in the Kingdom of Mark the Magnificent, it's no better (of course). My local would be new member for Perth (a so called "Liberal") studiously refuses to answer my questions about mandates. Says he's all about "small business". That many of them have gone/are going to the wall seems to have eluded him.

very nicely written. I completely agree with you on all points. In your case you actually received a reply from the electorate office, in our case we've sent multiple emails to our local member (Hume) and it's been crickets all the way. And contacting the state member achieves the same result, both the LNP and Labor are captive to these international criminal oranisations.

I suspect if you contact the labor candidate for your seat asking the same questions you'll get some garbage canned reply supplied by the national office that addresses even fewer of your concerns than this drivel did.

Normally we can rely on the websites for candidates for the policies to help make decisions, however at this point in time, at least for the house of reps, we're going to need to contact each and every candidate to get their position on these questions to help make the decision.

I think the best we can hope for is a hung parliament in the lower house with anti-mandate parties holding the balance of power (unfortunately I don't think this is going to happen, most people are too stupid to recognise that their choice is much wider than the Labor/LNP divide, but I may be pleasantly surprised with UAP and One Nation running candiates much more widely), with a senate where the balance of power is held by UAP, One Nation, LDP and other anti-mandate parties.

Of course, this would not be palatable to a lot of people, but right now I believe that the existential threat of the 'health' policies at both a state and federal level is significantly greater than the other threats we are facing.

After all, all registered health practitioners are being pushed to align with the medical system, even if they're working in a field which traditionally doesn't support the current medical paradigm.

100% agree. Australians really need to abandon their traditional apathy when it comes to voting, and make a very active choice. If even one of ten people who are eligible to vote contacted all the candidates in their electorate and asked them about how they view vaccine mandates, a strong message would be sent.

Lovely. I got the similar waffle from the other side. The hardest decision to make is who to put last. And furthermore, anyone with balls could have simply refused access to the immunisation register or refused further or any Jobkeeper payments ... I’m guessing lockdown would have been shorter in Vic without a federal government handout.

As part of my road trip to Cairns, I have seen a lot of UAP billboards and I hope that they and other “freedom” aligned parties can take a few seats.

"The hardest decision to make is who to put last" - couldn't agree more! And yes, Big Clive is making a big push here in Queensland, and is likely to get a few candidates over the line if enough people put the LibLabs + Greens at the bottom of their preferences.

I agree with you Alex. UAP is not a viable option. Clive is totally suspect, as is Craig Kelly.

In Hinkler there are few good options, but the sitting member will go to the bottom of my preferences.

While Kristie also seems good, perhaps she isn't aware of the UAP agenda Mr Red Shoes has in mind.

Personally I would have hated being in the Governments shoes during Covid - it was always a lose:lose situation. Everyone has an opinion on what needed to be done but did nothing about it. You can see by reaction in society that people are split on vaccination mandates. I’m anti-vax as I’m fir personal choice in these matters.

I have little time for those who have a single issue when it comes to voting. To me they are ignorant and selfish and care little about their nation. I am also fascinated that you haven’t asked the other parties the same question. Why aren’t you asking Labor? Keep us posted.

If the government had simply stuck to Australia's pandemic preparedness plan, which was updated in August 2019 with the latest peer-reviewed data on how to manage respiratory pandemics, we would not have faced any of these problems. It would not have been a lose-lose situation if they had had the cojones to tell the public that lockdowns were expressly rejected by top scientists in the 2000s as being ineffective and harmful. Instead, they bowed to globalist directives and bribed the media to become their mouthpieces with generous tax breaks and lavish taxpayer-funded advertising of their programs.

The reason I'm a single-issue voter in the upcoming election is that we won't even have a country to care about if the current trajectory of globalist take-over of all the institutions of governance is continued. Have you not heard of the WHO's global pandemic treaty, which expressly cancels the sovereignty of signatory states in the event of a PHEIC, which only they can declare? If you have, and you aren't taking this into account when it comes to your voting choices, than as far as I'm concerned you don't care a whit about this country. If you haven't heard of it, I suggest you go and get yourself educated about it.

If you had actually read the article, you would know that the reason I wrote to Keith Pitt is that he sent an email to me. If any other candidates approach me either by email, by phone or in person, I will be asking them the same questions. In the mean time, I'm checking out their policy statements online.
