Great podcast Robyn. I am an antivaxxer and have been for the last 35 years. I researched vaccines extensively before the birth of my daughter. I didn't vaccinate her. She has never suffered as a result of not being vaccinated. Vaccines are dangerous, all of them!
I did the same, and came to the same conclusion as you. My kids are now 21 and 17, and extremely healthy. They both had chicken pox and whooping cough when they were in primary school, which they sailed through. BTW my son got chicken pox from a fully vaccinated child, and my daughter got whooping cough from a fully vaccinated child.
I think ChoiceVaxxer has a good ring to it. I support people's right to take a vaccine if they have received informed consent and they genuinely conclude that the risk:rewards ratio is favourable. Likewise, I support people's right to decline a vaccine if they conclude that risk outweighs reward in their particular case.

It's amazing what you can learn with an own mind and a little research!

Look at my ChoiceVax position description, I made it up for ProVaxxers who have now become ChoiceVaxxers, but didn’t know what to call themselves.
I was sick of hearing “I’m not an antivaxxer” by those who now wanted the right to decide.
I would appreciate your thoughts on the ChoiceVax idea if you have time.
I was trying to create a distinction between ForceVax (no right to decide) and ChoiceVax (right to desire).
