Thank you for sharing your incisive summary of Ornish and Campbell's presentations at the ACLM conference. I had the enormous pleasure of engaging Dr Campbell in conversation about vaccines, over a breakfast that I wished could go for 3 more hours, at a plant-based nutrition conference in California several years ago. He had read the McKinlay & McKinlay study that I cited in a previous post (https://robynchuter.substack.com/p/why-you-need-to-stop-saying-im-not) and had come around to thinking that at best, vaccines had played a very minor role in the decline of sickness and death from infectious disease. He is one of the most erudite, intellectually curious, courageous people I've ever encountered, while also being disarmingly humble. And his devotion to his wife is absolutely inspiring. Truly a giant among men.
I attended that particular plant-based nutrition conference every year from 2015-2019, making the long trip from Australia to the west coast of the US just to spend 4 days amongst the people whom I thought were 'my tribe'. Then I watched virtually all of them become Branch Covidians. I couldn't believe it. My husband, who attended one of the conferences with me, commented that he could see it coming. He observed that the majority of people attended the conference were doctors, and they were bringing their medicalised view of health and disease with them when they entered the plant-based nutrition world (just as Dr Campbell astutely observed). My husband warned me that the doctors were going to take this movement over and turn plant-based nutrition and Lifestyle Medicine into just another modality that they could mix-and-match with drugs and surgery. As usual, he turned out to be right!
Yes, The American College of Lifestyle Medicine is stuck in trying to become acceptable to the AMA, which is understandable, but radically wrong. What this Covid crisis is showing us is that a radically new and different health system is needed, and some folks are working on this. One such initiative is Freedom Healthcare, and there are many other initiatives, also within the "system," but eventually, I tend to think we need a radical alternative that prioritizes health, and respects the indivitual. We need to understand that the sellout of the medical profession began with the de facto monopoly of allopathic medicine a hundred years ago, the rona crisis now has busted the lid off, for it is obvious for all to see that we don't know nearly as much as we pretend to know, and we will now be in the business of repairing vaccine damage for the forseeable future.
Couldn't agree more. Attempting to reform the existing medical system is pointless and Lifestyle Medicine/plant-based nutrition can't just be grafted onto an existing medical practice.
Any new system needs to prioritise individual responsibility for health. Most people delegate that responsibility to their doctor or other healthcare provider. The events of the last three years have shown just how well that works out.
While I don’t subscribe to a plant based diet for many reasons, I’ve also been saddened by the number of people I previously admired and respected who joined the Covidian cult.
I’m based in WA and source my organic and pasture raised (proteins) direct from farmers I previously trusted. Not one of them has questioned or expressed concern over the jabs.
Watching them all depart from their wholistic values and approach has been both eye opening and, tbh highly concerning. Do I trust them as we move into the age of mRNA jabs for livestock? Absolutely not.
And likewise, if any of Robyn’s readers know of trustworthy producers in WA, I’d love to hear from you 🙏🏼
I recently encountered a vet who - while an absolutely lovely person who is highly competent and has a great reputation with all the locals - proudly states on her website that she is an advocate of the One Health initiative of the WHO. I think she's representative of many professionals (and many farmers these days are graduates of agricultural degrees, so they view themselves as professionals) who have been completely programmed to believe that if an 'authority' states it, it must be true.
Absolutely! I think this is typical of people feeling defined by their qualifications and the institutions that give them their sense of self. They’ll support those institutions come hell or high water.
In the South West (WA) we have a Community United group who have put together a list of safe meat producers. They were all personally contacted and specifically if mRNA was being used or likely to be used in their products and all were very resounding NO! Further more they were all against it and were planning to be vigilant in making sure none of their products was ever sold contaminated with it.
Also Parents with Questions are looking to set up another family farm in WA which you can invest in if it happens. They have to find the farmer first, then the land. They've already set up 1 and a 2nd in progress in the eastern states https://thefamilyfarm.com.au/
Here's the list of SAFE MRNA FREE MEAT PRODUCERS & FRESH PRODUCE
I know quite a few a these farmers/people and was disappointed when they supported the Covid jab, even let staff go when they wouldn’t comply with the mandates.
Would they truly behave differently if/when their bottom line is effected by livestock mandates? Who knows. One can only hope.
unfortunately, doctors seemt o come out of medical schools completely brainwashed and unable to see the agenda of the sickness industry they are trained in. Critical thinking is obviously not taught at medical schools. Oh well, at least we know what we are dealing with, whereas most people are sound asleep and equally brainwashed.
A tiny minority of doctors appears to be capable of unindoctrinating themselves, or resisting indoctrination. My observation is that the most 'well-educated' are the most susceptible to brainwashing. I'm impressed by how many tradesmen and small business owners are wide awake, compared to the university-educated professionals.
It is a very sad fact of life that when something good is starting to be acknowledged, there are always opportunists seeking to get on the bandwagon with an eye to causing destruction. Their goal is always to substitute whatever with cheap, junk so as to fool the public and make super profits. The food and drug have a lot to answer for.
I love home cooked whole foods, made with care and love. What I don’t like is the plethora of trendy vegan Frankenfoods cluttering supermarket shelves. Supermarkets and the various other “food” establishments are cashing in on the saving the planet indoctrinations.
A woman after my own heart! There's no greater culinary pleasure for me than picking fresh vegetables from my garden and combining them with simple whole foods like legumes and whole grains. Fake chicken nuggets and soy cheese - 🤮.
Great article although I don't know if I will ever be able to believe any of these alleged scientists and any of their studies. I know it sucks, but there you have it in a nutshell.
And that's the tragedy of the scamdemic: people just don't have any trust in the system of research production. Honest, well-motivated researchers are being lumped in with the liars and whores. Journals publish absolute rubbish and retract well-performed studies. It's a mess.
Yes indeed. Once trust is lost it is one of the hardest things to regain if ever. I know there were a few good doctors and scientists out there but they got crucified, deplatformed etc.
A mess hardly begins to cover the damage that Big Pharma and their corrupt Deep State shills and enablers have caused all of us.
I like and admire Will enormously. I'm specifically looking for names of plant-based medical and health practitioners who spoke out against the scamdemic. Will is an educator rather than a doctor/health practitioner.
Thanks for reviewing this article. I am not so great with graphs and technical stuff so appreciate your interpretation. Agree with you that the best approach is to eat as little processed food as possible. Buy whole fruit and veg and make your meals from scratch. I did some serous detoxing over 3 years and you become more sensitive to various foods and end up giving up some altogether. Some people might consider it a curse but that sensitivity tells me when I should avoid and when I should eat certain foods. Once you have got to a place where you can trust your body it can be very clear about what it needs. Not sure if Dr Zach Bush is considered part of the plant based movement but he was a big influence on me at the start of the Pandemonium and he certainly recommends eating whole foods. I enjoyed hearing about the intelligence in the soil and how that was the key to restoring the gut and therefore restoring human health. (-:
Zach Bush is plant-based as far as I know but I think he prefers to avoid labels and cliques. He is an incredibly deep thinker with a broad systems approach; he reminds me a lot of T. Colin Campbell.

Thank you so much for writing this, an excellent and sorely needed piece in the current climate - and I went straight to the links referencing Alan Goldhamer and Doug Lisle, as I've been curious for ages about their views. I get the impression there's a lot more they could have said (and would have liked to have said), but their response was spot on, measured and calculated to not offend the Covid19 cultists or polarise people (though some people will still take offence). In their position, they have to tread a fine line. I note Joel Kahn has been VERY forthright though . . . as has Jeff Nelson, he's been incredible.
Doug is way more outspoken on his podcast - in classic Doug style 😂. I really didn't have any doubt that Alan would have refused the shot as he is steeped in Natural Hygiene philosophy.
Garth Davis has taken a lot of very nasty pot-shots at Joel Kahn but Joel has been calm and evidence-based in his responses. This COVID debacle has really shown up people's true colours.
Dr Henry (Henele) Ealy, founder of the Energetic Health Institute in Portland, Oregon is plant-based, and has been very outspoken throughout the past three years. He has been doing extensive research of the malfeasance of US covid reporting (I think he’s also involved with bringing forward a lawsuit about this).
He also works with vaccine victims heal from their injuries.
I think he has or had a show with America Outloud and he has another regular offering on rumble called the “C-shot injury free clinic”.
Another person I thought of today is Gary Null, a nutritionist, author and documentary film maker. He has a daily podcast called the Gary Null Show in which he talks a lot about plant-based nutrition (often siting related studies or articles), as well as general well-being, environmental and political issues..
Someone else in this realm of outspoken vegans I appreciate (although I don’t think he’s a nutritionist) is Derek Broze.
He’s an independent journalist who writes for The Last American Vagabond and for his own site, The Conscious Resistance.
He also created the Greater Reset and freedom cells..
I hadn’t realized Derek was vegan until I saw a video he made that addressed how vegan-ness was being misunderstood and even demonized (my word) by many among him in the freedom movement. He addressed how the junk plant-based / vegan ‘foods’ that are being pushed by big power is not the same as simple, whole, organic food.
I was so impressed and happy to hear someone address this... because I had been seeing veganism attacked online as being inline with the SDGs and the anti-life plans of those who have too much power.
Derek and his partner started a group to bring community and awareness to these issues and called it initially Vegans Against Agenda 2030, but then changed its name to Vegans for Freedom.
I too have been surprised to see so many people, who I had previously thought of as health conscious and into the truth of things, accept these injections into their bodies.
I didn't know that Henry Ealy and Garry Null are plant-based - thanks for letting me know! I attended a couple of early meetings of the Vegans for Freedom group but must admit that I drifted off as the project appeared to have stalled. I will check back in on it again now that you've reminded me of it. I donated to Derek and Miriam's fundraiser to buy land in Mexico to develop a freedom-oriented community. It's good to see him being so active in the freedom movement which is otherwise so pro-animal exploitation.
Excellent work Robyn! I'm a plant-based diet person and have experienced how great it is to feel healthy and alive so that I can make a positive contribution to humanity and society. I can only make that positive contribution if I am healthy in all aspects of life - emotional, spiritual, intellectually and physically.
Spot on! Both my husband (67) and I (51) are constantly struck by the reactions of most people when we tell them we sold our urban home and bought an acreage to work on becoming more self-sufficient. "That sounds nice, but at our age, we wouldn't be able to handle it" is the most common response. Most of the people saying that are younger than my husband, or only a few years older than me! I don't think there's any way I could be seeing clients, researching and writing, and establishing orchards and vegie gardens if it wasn't for the excellent health that I enjoy as a consequence of eating a plant-based diet.
Excellent Robyn! Exactly! I'll be 75 this year, and it's interesting to note that I am part of an organisation (Concert Music Band) where my main roles are Librarian, Property Officer, Organisation of venues, organise end of year break-up-party, find replacement musicians when needed and a few other extra duties when required. I want to remain in tip-top condition to continue making wonderful contributions to humanity, regardless of whether it's a small contribution or a big one - the main point for me is that it is something positive! You're a wonderful inspiration, Robyn. Thank you for all that you do.
Last year I consulted a dietitian. Due to my age, she advocated increased protein intake. But her recommendations were exclusively highly processed. I dutifully tried them, disliked them so handed her the remaining packets as samples. I was and remain horrified.
I really like Weston A Price Foundation. Real Science based, traditional nutrition and wisdom. I enjoy my animal foods & fats and don’t restrict them. No way will Bill Gates & his cronies lead me astray into his orbit. This fake food is a profound reason for us to decline Aged Care.
We are healthy, active & and on very few prescriptions. Definitely NO statins etc. Natural Health and organic only.
Glad to hear you are active and healthy. I would encourage you to follow up with the references on Weston A Price Foundation articles, as the sources they cite often don't support their recommendations (in many cases contradicting them) or is irrelevant to humans. The recommendation to eat a diet high in animal fat is not concordant with the evolutionary development of humans.
Hi Robyn , Thanks so much for this great article and everything you are doing !. As a vegan for over 35 years and during these strange times when real quality food is becoming a scarcity I was interested in investing in thefamilyfarm.com.au however found it difficult to support the animal exploitation component . Does anyone know of similar enterprises coming up for vegetable /fruit only farms that one can invest in and become part owner or any recommendations for good organic veg/fruit suppliers that service the Brisbane area ?
I am so grateful to know that there were these holdouts. I was disgusted to see how many in the Lifestyle Medicine and Whole Foods, Plant-based arena went along with the AMA and the mainstream. Disgusting... https://www.americaoutloud.com/innocence-lost-at-lifestyle-medicine-conference/

Why do you think I turned to bush food foraging in 2020? It wasnt just because I thought my government was trying to kill me!
Your government wants to kill you, and they've hired all their corporate mates to do the job for them 🤣.

Thank you Robyn, still.whole food plant based although now at age 82 dealing with chronic fatigue, very frustrating
Do you mean postviral chronic fatigue? There are some good treatments for that!
Not really sure haven't been sick with a virus but dealing with this more than a year now. I see you are no longer on the Gold Coast.
I moved further north. I'm available for online consultations.
Please add Dr. Will Tuttle to the honour roll. He will be releasing a book called "Food for Freedom" soon.
