I've been saying for years that we're living through the Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire, redux. A society with no moral compass is not worth fighting or dying for. The only sensible approach is to kick it over and start again.
We're living in bizarro world. Personally, I'm pretty damn annoyed that people with penises are claiming to be women. Doesn't this fall under the rubric of cultural appropriation?

Douglas Murray said something along the lines of Rome falling when it too reached this level of , I’m not sure what the word for it is, but let’s say “cross dressing”.
I wonder whether Roman legions, presumably still manned by men in the true sense of the word, decided Rome and what it stood for wasn’t worth fighting for. Maybe they welcomed the invaders that had a moral compass ?
Not that we are trusted to bear arms in order to defend ourselves should we be invaded , but seriously, I can’t think of too many leaders lately that epitomises the Australia I used know and hold dear and would want to through myself into harms way for.
