A reader's account of the Convoy to Canberra
We cannot allow history to be rewritten by the elitists
In the light of the corporate media’s disgraceful kowtowing to Trudeau the Lesser, as they fall over each other to misrepresent peaceful protestors in Ottawa as violent racists, sexists, transphobes, homophobes and any other identity politics-rooted slander they can make up out of whole cloth, it’s vitally important to gather and widely share on-the-ground accounts of protests taking place around the world.
(These are the violent, racist pro-medical freedom protestors:
…
… and these are the peaceful, loving counter-protestors:
Hope that clears things up for you.)
Whilst in earlier eras, the means of disseminating versions of such events that diverged from the state-sanctioned narrative were limited and hence, it frequently took months, years or even decades for them to leak out, thanks to the wonders of the Interwebs we now have the ability to live-stream, photojournal and blog the revolution. And we must do so, since it sure as heck won’t be televised by the mockingbird media.
To that end, I present to you a reader’s account of the February 12 protest in Canberra. Many thanks to Mick for sharing his heartfelt story.
My Trip to the Capital on Saturday, 12th February, 2022
I am 61 year old man, Social Worker, Counsellor and Educationalist and I wish to tell you about my trip to Canberra on such an historic day in Australian history. I have also previously attended a rally in Sydney against the vaccination of children. Since the beginning of this pandemic I always felt something was very wrong in what was occurring around me. I guess my heart and instincts told me to not follow the government and media ‘one narrative’.
I left Sydney at 6:15am in rain and overcast conditions and headed down the M5, which seemed to have more traffic then normal for a Saturday morning drive. Along the way, I passed vehicles, and some passed me (but not many! – Lol), as I honked my horn and raised my arm of “choice and freedom” to all the vehicles displaying signs, flags, and other items in support of our stand against the legal, medical, social, economic, and political tyranny which has engulfed not only Australia, but running rampant across our world.
Upon arriving in Canberra I parked around 15 minutes from the city and caught the light rail into town. The light rail station of Phillip Station was engulfed with people bearing flags of Australia, cheering, and displaying such a colorful spirit in their quest to have our governments, and those who oppose us in society, to hear our truth and fight for our basic rights. Unfortunately, many of the vaccinated are blind to what is coming if we do not stand up now! Travelling on the light rail with so many wonderful people embracing the importance of the day, was only a snippet of what was to come. Alighting at Alinga Street it was obvious the crowds were growing and everyone walking towards Parliament House. The feelings of togetherness and being united were quite overwhelming. It was a long walk of approximately 2 klms, but as we all walked the silence of strength and oneness was something to be felt. Canberra police presence was practically non-existent but all those present wore masks and never spoke to the any in the crowd (not that I saw). Approximately 200,000 like minded individuals shared the day.
Why did I go to Canberra on Saturday, February 12th, 2022:
To connect with people who were feeling what I feel inside of me:- Make a stand for the best of humanity, which is certainly under great attack.
The simple fact that something is ‘very wrong” and we have to make a stand and become the people who help rid the world of this insanity.
Groups, like us, and in every country around the world are joined in unity. Never have I seen so much courage and spirit from people who are losing everything in order, to not be ‘forced’, into taking an experimental drug, at the cost of their personal health. I feel a strong link to this kindred spirit.
Everything that means so much to be human: love, intimacy, community, family, and respect, being destroyed all around me. People blinded by fear, created by government, across the world! My mind has hardly been away from this shocking experiment which is being forced onto mankind. I guess, just too much at stake to not “Hold the Line” with an unyielding force.
People from all parts of Australia were present to exhibit their views on the mandates being imposed by governments and communities. Very peaceful, some excellent guest speakers. One in particular, Dr Peter Johnson, is someone who has provided me with an understanding of the issues at stake: mandates; and the vaccine impact on the human body, and in particular the immune system – our greatest defense mechanism against disease and infection.
So, I am very honored to have been to Canberra on this day. I met people from South Australia, up-and-down the QLD coast, Victoria, Northern Territory, and even people from Western Australia were present. Just amazing vibe!
I guess I end with a couple of quotes:
We do not need to do anything but mend through love, as it is the most powerful of all things. No virus, government, political, or pharmaceutical company can compete with love. We join hands and keep moving forward with what is in our hearts.
Our lives are great and wonderful , and what a gift it is! If we live in love, we live in the depth of spirituality which goes beyond the realms of the external world.
Regards
Mick
